The Ford family wanted a luxurious, modern master suite inspired by 1930's Hollywood Glamor. This look was achieved by the juxtaposition of clean modern lines, with luxurious accessories. The transformation began by painting the room, and ceiling, 2 modern shades of grey. A dramatic white leather upholstered, and tufted king size bed anchors the rooms. The bed was then flanked by 2 art deco mirrored nightstands. The bedding was done in a rich, romantic plum, but the pattern was kept modern and simple. To add luxury, the bed was adorned with layers of pillows. In contrast to the simple bedding, the room was accessorized with crystal lamps, sequined pillows, formal draperies and an elaborate crystal chandelier. The overall effect is a dramatic and elegant master suite.
