The Smith family wanted a casual, yet stylish, contemporary recreation room. The design and color inspiration for this space was the Smiths' love of the sea. Wood tones were inspired by driftwood, and rocks. Furniture, paint and accessories inspired by the many shades of blue found in nature.

The main area was centered around a rich walnut pool table, with navy felt. Four lounge chairs in shades of blue, and 2 chrome/glass accent tables completed the lounge feel. The floors were changed to a solid bamboo, in a grey/brown color. The walls were painted 2 shades of grey/blue. Artwork and accessories completed the soothing look of this contemporary, sea inspired recreation room.
